Common Questions

Animal Chiropractic FAQ

What animals can a chiropractor treat?

Dr. Anna Moseley treats horses, dogs, cats, goats, alpacas, cows, bearded dragons and other exotic animals — plus human chiropractic. If it has a spine, she can help.

How do I know if my animal needs chiropractic care?

Watch for stiffness, limping, reluctance to move or jump, changes in gait, behavior, or performance, a hunched posture, or reduced activity. Animals often can’t tell us where it hurts, so subtle changes matter.

Is animal chiropractic safe?

Yes. When performed by a certified animal chiropractor, adjustments are gentle, specific, and low-force. Dr. Moseley holds a Doctorate in Animal Chiropractic from Germany and 25+ years of clinical experience.

Do you travel to see animals?

Yes — Dr. Anna runs a mobile practice with in-home and barn visits across DC, Virginia, and beyond, plus in-office hours Wednesdays 5–7pm in McLean, VA.
